"Sri Lanka in our Heart" organises some activities during the year in order to gather funds to support the project.
Our handicrafts shop is present at different local events.
Last but not least, we get spontaneous support from sports clubs and cultural associations organising an event for our project.

Handicrafts shop

Through our handicrafts shop, we propose Fair Trade products from Sri Lanka. Made in small workshops, these products are all authentic and comply with preset rules for production and are safe for children.

Part of the products we offer are bought directly by the adoptive parents during their stay in Sri Lanka.Others are bought through an organisation dealing in Fair Trade products.
The range aims at smaller gadgets such as bracelets, key rings, necklaces, elephant dung paper, small wooden toys and some textile. A range of attractive small items at a fair price. Ideal for a small present.

Wine and greeting card sales

By the end of the year, we organise a 'Wine and greeting card sale'.
The families locally promote the action in their region and are ready to take your orders. Every order is delivered in time, in order to make the end of the year an agreable moment with a little attention to those who are less fortunate.
If you want to be alerted by mail of the start of this end-of-year sale, just subscribe to our mailing list (under 'Contact us'). You will receive an email notification at the start of the action in order to transmit your order in due time.

The greeting cards are not limited to the end-of-year period. They hold no preprinted message, so they can be used for any occasion.
